Hi again! So: how many of us have chewed at least once a chewing gum? And how many of us have seen one in a road or in a park?
Now, it seems something of superficial, but... Do you really know what a chewing gum does to yourself and to the environment?
Let's check it!
Eating chewing gums isn't healthy for you at all. In fact, a big part of this "food" is made by toxic and carcinogenic elements! For example: butadiene, polyvinyl acetate, plastic's oil-based, BHA... The same materials used for making pneumatics!!!
This is also for the famous chewing gums labels!
How can one little thing like that cause problems to the nature?
Well, you have to know that one chewing gum takes 5 long years to decompose!
We also have to add that many of them are glued in the streets, under the class desks, parks, monuments...
The cost of cleaning these places from the chewing gums is really higher compared to the low cost of the product! And doing it requires chemical products that pollute the environment!
See that the chewing gum is made of chemical products, when they are put in the street, they leave a black stain. Like it's petrol.
Wouldn't it be better to live in an ordered and green place? With clean and not full of chewing gums roads? We think yes.
It would be better if people avoid eating them. This would have only positive aspects! For the health and the environment that, very often, are linked.
