Hey there! You know that all the plastic we don't recycle or we waste, finishes in the sea, in our sea! This pollutes the water and kills many fishes.
We have talked about it in other articles.
Now, in all these years that people weren't worried about plastic, it's born The Pacific Trash Vortex, also called Great Pacific garbage patch.
It is located between 135°/155°W longitude. and 35°/42°N latitude and it is deep 30 meters.
The extension isn't known with precision, it could cover the 0,41% or the 5,6% of the Pacific Ocean!!!
There are also many other islands made of waste, we only talk about The Pacific Trash Vortex because (for now) it's the biggest of the world!
We hope that you will understand that recycling and avoiding to use plastic is really important and it's a global problem!
Remember that together we can make a difference!
